About Me

I am Ronald Muse, a motivator, interrupter, coach, and serial entrepreneur. Currently retired, I have over 20 years of experience as a Virginia licensed real estate salesperson. With over 40 years of experience as a real estate investor, owner and landlord, I am a former president of Quality Food Stores, Inc., with more than 36 employees operating a convenience store and three restaurants. I am a home builder, and an owner of an apartment building, a condominium, a strip mall, a shopping mall, single-family homes, and a townhouse. I have also owned and operated a burglar and fire alarm company.

I retired at age 51 from the US Naval Mind Warfare Engineering at Yorktown, Virginia. While there, I was instrumental in bringing onboard several young black engineers from major universities. After leaving the U.S Government, one of the engineers earned over $250,000 per year with Duke Power in North Carolina.

I am the recipient of the "Pinnacle Award," Which salutes black men of achievement from The Gillette Company and I was also featured in the "Being Single" magazine (a national publication) in Chicago, Illinois.

I was born in Yorktown, Virginia, and I currently reside in Suffolk, Virginia with my wife, Dr. Julia Avery Muse, a retired high school principal with the Norfolk Public School System. I have often met with students and young adults to discuss their futures.
